A new Bonesaw patch might be in the works, folks. There are a number of small bug fixes that I need to address, but mainly this is being brought about from Clickteam's recent update to Multimedia Fusion, which should be fixing most of the crazy issues I was having toward the end of development.
What was happening was all the sprites began to become confused, and would swap images with each other, and this would make the game unplayable. I managed to get around it, but after awhile it would spring up again, and well I feel pretty lucky that nothing else happened before I released the game.
The new patch will address the glitch with the ball being stuck against an edge, which has a very slim chance of happening but once it does the player may find themselves stuck. I also may be able to release a Hardware Accelerated version that may clear up some of the lag for some people. No official word on when this will be out, but its something I'm working on.

It's finally over. I graduated from Clarkson University after four long years. They actually went by pretty fast, and I'm going to miss my college days and all the friends I gained from my experiences at school.
Since graduation I've been working on some of my own projects, as well as some collaborations with friends. I'm working on a fairly large website project that will launch sometime in the near future in which I am doing the design and the coding for pretty much everything. I'm also working on a game project with a friend from Clarkson, as well as another game for a
tigsource competition.
I've also been adding some new works in the imagery section from time to time, as well as my new blog design to the design section. Stay tuned for a new game to hit the projects section. That's all for now!

In recent news, Bonesaw: The Game has surpassed 10,000 unique downloads! It's sitting somewhere around 10,200 downloads as of today, and I couldn't be more excited. It's pretty amazing for my first big game to get so much attention, and I hope everyone is enjoying it. (Yeah, I know, some people think its too hard, oh well!)
I've been having a good time watching some of the videos of the game online of people fighting all the bosses, and some people even found the mega secret boss that you can only get to after collecting every golden puck! I'm amazed, really.
The 1.2 patch that I had planned with hardware acceleration probably isn't going to happen. There are just some deep rooted issues with the game that occur when I enable it, and I don't think I can fix them at this point.
I've actually started two game projects, one of which can be viewed publicly at
The Daily Click. It was created as a small contest entry, but I didn't finish it so now I'm going to take it a little further. As for my other project, well I can't talk about it for now, but maybe you'll know more in a few months. Stay tuned!

I just got back from GDC, and I'm pretty freakin' exhausted. I had about 200 emails in my inbox from not checking them for 10 days, and I've been trying to get through all the ones about the Bonesaw game. I really appreciate all the feedback.
Speaking of the Bonesaw game, I just released an updated version (now version 1.1) to the internet. You can download it
here. This patch addresses some minor bug fixes throughout the game and also a bug in Level X4. I suggest you download this and replace your old version. (The game shouldn't overwrite your save and data files, but just in case back those up as well.)
I had a blast at GDC, and I met a lot of awesome people who I'll be contacting very soon. I think for now though I'm going to get some sleep, as I haven't had any for more than 24 hours. Flying across the country isn't as fun as it seems.

Now this is the post I've been waiting to write for a long time now.
Bonesaw: The Game is out! No, really, it's really done, and it's out there. Isn't that crazy? For those of you who don't know, Bonesaw: The Game is my year long project that I've just actually completed. It's my first full game release, and I'm really excited to present it to the people of the internet.
To download, just go right over
here and choose a download mirror.
Phew, thats a huge weight off my shoulders. Now I'm off to the Game Developer's Conference 2008! I'm hoping to learn a lot while I'm there, as I'm sort of striving to get into this whole gaming industry thing. We'll see how it goes!

Good news today! I just finished up a trailer of my upcoming game Bonesaw: The Game. You can check it out at
Stage6.com or
YouTube. It's also embedded right in the project's page for
Bonesaw: The Game
The game is going to be released soon. I'm just waiting for a few more of the game's assets to come together, then everything will be packaged up for one last beta test and off to the internet it goes! It will be really exciting to have a game released to the public, especially right before the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco.
By the way, if anyone is attending GDC this year then let me know. I'll be out there for the full week, and maybe I'll see you there. Until next time!

The new design of my site is officially done!
You could've guessed that, since you're looking at it. I spent a lot of time on this new design, especially with the back end coding side of things. Everything is now fully automated for me to work with, so I should be updating this space a lot more than the previous iteration of my site.
So I invite you to look around and browse what's in my portfolio for now, and check back for any news and new works that I add. I've been working hard on my main project Bonesaw: The Game as well as working on a lot of different web projects including the recently launched
Gamer Tonight website, and an upcoming video game press related website.
